candle care

to get the best burn from your april studio candle please:

• trim the wick to 5mm before each use
• allow the wax to melt to the edge of the glass during the first burn. this will prevent tunnelling + extend the life of your candle (it should take between 2-4 hours)
• never leave a lit candle unattended or near to drafts or items which may catch fire
• keep away from children + pets
• ensure the wax is kept free of any trimmings or debris
• do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time
• always burn on a heat proof surface
• discard when only 10mm of wax remains

as soy is a natural product, when hardening post-burnt the wax may appear uneven or lumpy. this does not impact your candle's performance + is cosmetic only.
